Role description
We are looking for an outstanding graduate to join our technology PR team.
Your role will be to deliver our campaigns, including writing press releases and articles, building journalist and blogger relationships, taking responsibility for day-to-day administration and securing coverage for clients at the right time, in the right places, and with the right messages.
You will also have the opportunity to attend and organise networking events, using these as a chance to build your own professional network and secure new business for MC2.
Skills and qualifications
You must have very strong written and spoken communication skills. We'll also be looking for people with an excellent awareness of the changing face of the media and the rapidly evolving digital world.
Ideally, you will be able to prove your interest in marketing and communications for technology companies. Some work experience in a PR agency is useful, but not essential.
Your degree subject isn't important - your attitude, your commitment and your potential count for much more.

Calling all administrative superstars!
We’re looking for an organised and confident office junior to look after our friendly, creative and very busy team in our Manchester city centre offices from October 2010.
You’ll need a flair for multitasking and a positive attitude, along with an excellent telephone manner and the ability to make the right first impression on senior level clients. You’ll also be expected to have a good knowledge of MS Office, with experience of Mac OS X desirable but not vital.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Looking after reception, including meeting and greeting visitors
- Taking phone calls and directing within the agency
- Managing office stock and replenishing where necessary
- Basic office administration
- Keeping guests fed and watered!
