Calling all budding PR professionals!

Start date: September 2011
Closing date for applications: 9am, 28 March 2011
Salary: £15,000 p/a

Role description

Do you have what it takes to make it in PR? If you've got the talent, we've got just the job - a graduate role at our friendly and busy agency in the heart of Manchester city centre.

It's a role that will suit anyone who loves to write, communicate and create, who gets excited by PR and the media. If you've got agency experience, great! But don’t worry if you don't - we'll consider every application, no matter what your experience or degree subject. What matters most to us is attitude, commitment, potential and passion.

Your role will be to deliver our campaigns, including writing press releases and articles, building journalist and blogger relationships, taking responsibility for day-to-day administration and securing media coverage for our fantastic portfolio of clients. You'll also have the opportunity to attend and organise networking events, using these as a chance to build your own professional network and secure new business.

Our ethos is "without compromise" - and that's something that applies to our people as much as to our work. For bright, enthusiastic graduates, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn lots, progress quickly and make a name for yourself in the competitive PR market, with the support of one of the best teams in the business.

Application process

Think a career with MC2 is for you? The next step is to send your CV to Mary Jaquiss at maryj@mcmc.co.uk, along with a covering letter telling me why you think you could be a part of the North's leading independent PR agency.

The closing date is 9am on 28 March 2011. If you make our longlist, you'll be asked to put together a press release, with shortlisted candidates invited to an assessment day on 13 April 2011.
